1. Introduction

Linefront is a digital onboarding, workflow, and verification platform used by organisations to collect, process, and assess information from individuals.

This document outlines the terms of your use of the Linefront website, applications, and services (the “Platform”). These Terms are legally binding, so please read them carefully.

These Terms apply only to your use of the Platform and do not create any relationship between you and any organisation (the “Client”) using Linefront.

2. About Linefront

Linefront Limited (“Linefront”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales with Company Number 16650510, with its registered office at:

128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

Linefront Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZC094705.

3. Definitions

  • “End User” / “you”: Any individual using the Platform
  • “Client”: The organisation that has asked you to provide information via Linefront
  • “Services”: All services provided via the Platform

4. Role of Linefront

Linefront provides the technology platform used by Clients.
Important:
  • Linefront does not control how Clients use your data
  • Linefront does not make decisions about you (unless explicitly stated)
  • Any decisions (e.g. approval, eligibility, outcomes) are made by the Client

5. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Please read our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is used.
Our Role
In most cases:
  • Linefront acts as a Data Processor
  • The Client is the Data Controller
We process your data only:
  • On behalf of the Client
  •  To provide the Services
In limited cases (e.g. account management or optional services), we may act as a Data Controller.

8. Information You Provide

You agree that:
  • All information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date
  • You will update your information if it changes
You acknowledge that:
  • The Client may rely on this information
  • Incorrect information may affect outcomes

9. Use of the Platform

You may only use the Platform:
  • For personal, non-commercial use
  • For the purposes intended by the Client
You must not:
  • Misuse the Platform
  • Upload unlawful or harmful content
  • Attempt unauthorised access
  • Interfere with system integrity
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data

10. Verification, Checks, and Data Sources

To support onboarding and verification processes, Linefront may:
  • Process documents you provide
  • Validate identity and personal details
  • Obtain or verify information from third-party sources
This may include:
  • Identity verification
  • Address verification
  •  Regulatory or compliance checks
You acknowledge that such checks may be required by the Client.

11. Credit and Background Checks

Where applicable:
  • Linefront may facilitate checks via TransUnion or other providers
  • These are typically soft credit checks, which do not affect your credit score
  • If a hard credit check is required, you will be clearly informed in advance
Linefront does not make lending decisions. Any decisions based on such data are made by the Client.

12. AI and Automated Processing

Linefront may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) and automated systems to:
  • Analyse documents
  • Extract and structure data
  • Support verification and risk assessment
  • Assist Clients in evaluating applications
Important Information
  • AI outputs are assistive only
  • They are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete
  • They do not constitute legal or financial advice
Decision-Making
  • Linefront does not make final decisions about you
  • All decisions are made by the Client
Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights including:
  • Requesting human review
  • Challenging decisions
  • Requesting additional information
You should contact the relevant Client to exercise these rights.

13. Data Sharing

Your information may be shared:
  • With the Client you are interacting with
  • With third-party service providers where necessary
  • With verification or credit agencies where applicable
Only where lawful and necessary.

14. Providing Information About Others

If you provide information about another person, you confirm that:
  • You have the right to do so
  • You have obtained any required consent

15. Security

You are responsible for:
  • Keeping login details secure
  • Not sharing your account
You must notify us of any unauthorised access.

16. Availability of Services

We provide the Platform with reasonable care.
However:
  • Services are provided “as is”
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access

17. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its content are owned by Linefront.
You may not:
  • Copy or reproduce content
  • Reverse engineer the Platform
  • Use it to build competing services

18. Confidentiality

You must not disclose any confidential information relating to Linefront or the Platform.

19. Anonymised Data

Linefront may use anonymised data for:
  • Analytics
  • Product improvement
  • System performance
No personal data is identifiable.

20. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
  • You breach these Terms
  • Required by law
  • Services are discontinued

21. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • The Platform is provided “as is”
  • We make no guarantees about accuracy or outcomes

22. Liability

Linefront is not liable for:
  • Decisions made by Clients
  • Outcomes of applications or processes
  • Indirect or consequential losses

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
